Does anyone own any Bitcoin??

On February 20, 2022, Mark issued a tweet that stated a constituent had their account frozen for making a $50 donation to the “Freedom Convoy.”[4] Later that day, his statement was called into question, and further found to be potentially untrue when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police issued a statement declaring they had not shared the names of any individual donors with banks in order to have small donor accounts frozen.[5]

Statement

February 21, 2022 - Ottawa, Canada

Under the Emergency Economic Measures Order (Emergencies Act), the list that was provided to financial institutions included identities of individuals who were influencers in the illegal protest in Ottawa, and owners and/or drivers of vehicles who did not want to leave the area impacted by the protest. At no time, did we provide a list of donors to financial institutions.

We are now working with the banks to build a process to address the accounts that were frozen.

the list that was provided to financial institutions included identities…

So that’s not an exclusive statement and the list they refer to was provided by anybody, it doesn’t refer specifically to a list provided by them…

At no time, did we provide a list of donors to financial institutions.

So they could indirectly supplied a “list of donors” to a different body. Or they could have provided a list which included donors, but which wasn’t exclusively donors. Unspecific language to keep the brainwashed factchecked and content.

The point is that Canada invoked draconian measures and froze banks accounts of supporters of a democratic protest that was later even deemed to be legal by a court. It’s indefensible and unforgivable.
