Wipers
I like the Wipers’s musical philosophy, plus solid musicianship. The lead vocal guy, Greg Sage, very impressive with the contoured melodic lines, undoubtedly a very good live band too back then.
I only heard them for the first time last year. Really good band. Still discovering old bands that smoke anything I hear from today. Them and The Modern Lovers have probably became my favorite two recently discovered bands over the last year. Also, Pere Ubu. Kooky in a good way. I don’t really get stoned anymore since a long time, but I did hear these guys that way.
