My thoughts exactly…
In answer to the question, “stupid shit” can be sustained for as long as lying media and institutions exist. The hypothesis that nobody really knows what they are doing, that nobody has been born and raised thinking that they are genuinely better than everybody else while having the money to manipulate really is extremely naive.
