They’re making such a big deal about this, but what it doesn’t say is the “Grand Opening” only runs about 10 miles. It runs from Kapolei, which is on the west side of Oahu, to Aloha Stadium. A distance of about 10 miles. From Aloha Stadium, you get off the train and get on a bus to go downtown.
They still haven’t figured out where the route will end downtown, but they are saying it will be 2027 before the full route is completed.
They’ve already spent 10 BILLION on this!!!

Japan started a couple of hundred mile rail project the same time Honolulu started this rail project. Japans project is up and running. Plus the whole thing cost a lot less than the 10 BILLION the bozos here have spent so far.
