Gone, but not forgotten. Dutch composer Rogier van Otterloo wrote some very memorable music back in the early 1970s, including Turks Fruit (in collaboration with Toots Thielemans) and this gem, Help! De Dokter Verzuipt. The movie is bleh by today’s standards but the music is still fantastic.
This is composition and arranging at its finest, with extremely memorable themes.

While Rogier van Otterloo never made it big time to Hollywood, Toots Thielemans certainly did, frequently collaborating with John Williams.
